EXPANDED MISSION DESCRIPTION
If Application Service Providers are to succeed in renting software to businesses users thereby removing their internal business infrastructure ASP's will need more than just internet bandwidth, ASP's will require new unique services to support the transition of the software marketplace from internal solutions to internet or extranet solutions under a ASP model. CoreASP will build the knowledge base systems, IT support, internal phone center support center, manuals on demand and create programs to ensure confidence in the ASP marketplace as software transitions from corporate intranets to extranets and internet served users now reliant more than ever before on remotely hosted solutions to manage and run their business.
COREASP SERVICES
We are an ASP: Understanding the needs of the ASP software companies means CoreASP must be an ASP. We see the business from end users perspective. We provide the end user support, billing options and custom services required to satisfy the end users needs.
Master ASP Program: When a application are under represented in the marketplace we will act as the initial ASP to help host and represent the software and in time acting as a Master ASP we will assist in the management and support as the ASP product comes to maturity and acceptance in the marketplace.
ASP Rep Sales Force Multiplier: The recruitment and individuals and organizations that desire to earn a commission on the sale of ASP software.
Managed ASP Reps Sales Training: The recruitment and training of ASP Reps registered with CoreASP and a daily, weekly or monthly WebEx type presentation for online review to assist the ASP Reps in the selling of the ASP Vendors software.
Managed Software Previews: A standardized daily, weekly or monthly WebEx type online presentation of ASP applications for end user review.
MANUALS ON DEMAND
Manuals On Demand: Manuals are an important user tool, users upon initial software selection will require manuals, and upon scheduled system updates users can purchase manuals to accompany that scheduled ASP update. CoreASP in conjunction with Kinkos/FedEx is building a manual distribution system that removes the burden of manual management from the ASP software company. Users can register for service updates for printing and deliver of manuals. Kinkos has recently been purchased by FedEx and by the end of 2005 new Kinkos/FedEx centers will print and ship manuals on demand for CoreASP and its member clients. Upon scheduled ASP software updates or large batch run requets, manuals will be managed through a more traditional printing process to improve the quality of the manuals and lower the cost to the end users.
24x7 APPLICATION SUPPORT
Applicatoin Support: CoreASP is building a standard interface to allow users to receive managed support on any ASP product. Some support pointers will direct users back to the ASP Software Vendors support system, while other links may direct to 3rd party support systems or even CoreASP's support pool.
APPLICATION AVAILABILITY GUARANTEE
Application Guarantee: When making the transition from an internally managed system to an internet or extranet based ASP hosted system, business will require assurance that the application the have chosen to invest in that is either on a dedicated or shared server in a remote collocation center, will be available even if the ASP software company goes out of business. A program of application/data availability guarantee is available that can guarantee the purchaser that if the primary provider of the ASP service is no longer available that CoreASP will for a specified period of time continue to host and provide assistance to the business that has invested time in that ASP software. Either a transition time or possibly long continuation of service is available through the CoreASP software guarantee. A seal to place on the ASP's web site or product literature representing participation in the Application Availability Program (AAP) is available to guarantee that this ASP will turn over software/data/severs to CoreASP as per contract terms with the AAP program to give the confidence that business owners need to invests their valuable resources in this specific ASP software.
